Regional Gatherings

Regional Gatherings bring together colleagues across the country to discuss hot topics in our schools.

Regional Directors at ISAP host these gatherings virtually and in person throughout the school year for Ontario, Quebec, The Prairies, Western Canada, and The Maritimes.

We encourage you to join colleagues in your region at our next gathering! These are free to all ISAP members. Also, spread the word! Please invite other members of your team to join these calls as they are able.

ISAP Regional Gatherings are:

1. Fun and Inspiring: it's always a breath of fresh air to see each other’s faces, either virtually or in person, and to get to know our peers at other independent schools. Sometimes, there are even door prizes too!

2. Educational: you will learn a lot about what other schools are doing and the newest ideas and best practices to help you raise more gifts and build better fundraising programs and teams. We often share samples of documents and resources with each other that are amazingly helpful.

3. Supportive: share your successes and challenges to a group of individuals who may have faced the exact same issues and have a different perspective to help you get to a solution. Sometimes one conversation on this call can save you hours of research, lost sleep or trial and error.

4. Confidential: every once in a while we encounter a sensitive topic that a group member needs support around, or a very special idea or announcement. We all understand the sensitive nature of our work. What gets talked about on the call, stays on the call, unless you've expressly asked permission to share otherwise.

5. Inclusive: all members of advancement teams are welcome; through these conversations and relationships we build, there is something for everyone in these calls, whether you are a seasoned fundraiser or a newbie.
